You must be willing to work it, especially you first time builders and young folks out there. If you are not willing to take the time to do this then the best advice I can give you is don't get into guitar building. Guitar building is a craft, learned in may cases by trial and error.

The ability to remain patient and adapt as needed is important. There are many, many free online tips posted by folks just like you.

22 Nickel Silver Medium Jumbo Frets. I'm taking a little different approach than I have in the past.. This model is designed for the player / builder that wants the easiest solution to customize.. I offered this model for a while with a guard / however, so, so many customers wanted it not set up for a guard, I decided to do it clean, as shown.. Although you can install a guard/bracket, I think it looks better without.. I have professionally installed the neck for you, as well as the bushings for the bridge / tailpiece with groundwire and you get a black trim kit with screws as well as a black TuneOmatic Bridge / Tailpiece and posts, Die Cast Sealed Back set of black Venetian Tulip Tuners and a black outjack plate and neckplate.. You then add your own pickups / wiring / strap pegs and knobs..

Top of the line, custom ready.. You are looking at the SilverBurst LPse setup.. The finish is drop dead gorgeous, it's one of my Custom Shop finishes and, after set up, it will play as good as anything out there and the beauty part is you customize the electronics with whatever you like (humbucker setup)..

You know, the first thing many, many players, both pros and hobbiests do is gut the electronics and install what they want.. I offer you the skeleton, if you will, to dress out as you see fit.. Solid hardrock maple carved arch top body, metallic silver flake top and back that fade to a high gloss piano black (done just like a custom auto paint job) hard rock Canadian maple neck with select Indian rosewood fretboard / trapezoid inlay, 22 nickel silver frets, full celluloid bound neck as well as body, 24.75 scale, 43mm nut, fully adjustable truss rod, Strap peg holes, etc are drilled.

Please take a moment and look hard at the pics below which will also provide you with additional details. I would like to mention one thing.. This body is bound in black celluloid.. Thus, you have a black celluloid strip next to a gloss black burst edge.. There will be a hairline..

This could be buffed out, I'm sure, however, I don't consider it a big deal.. It's just the way black celluloid looks when it's next to high gloss black finish.
